West Ham going down?

I was amused at some of the vitriol in the mailbox, so I posted it up. Obviously "Al" is a bit of a cock although I wholeheartedly agree RE: Dave Whelan. That bloke is a complete muppet and the fact Paul Jewell has resigned serves him right. I tell you what, Whelan and Warnock deserve each other - they should install Warnock as the next Wigan manager and then see them fuck off out of the Prem next season.

Now that WOULD be funny :D

Tree - Reo-Coker, Ferdinand, Etherington, Harewood and Mullins will be sold this summer. I expect West Ham to spend quite heavily in the transfer market but also offload the "Baby Bentley" brigade at the same time. The fans don't want them at the club anymore as they are epitomise everything that is wrong with the modern footballer.

I'd obviously like to see Tevez stay.

Warnock sucks, fact, Save this other stuff and start a transfer speculation thread plsthnx. LFC have already spent 20mill on three young South Americans and we're in for Tevez.

If Tevez stays at the Hammers I'll bare my arse in WH Smiths window in town :D

Aye, he won't stay but if he does, I fully expect you to be true to your word :D

I'd be happy if Wenger would sign one or two players who's only job in the world is to put their foot through the ball and convert the chances we create :p

On that note, I just found this in the F365 mailbox:

I heard a rumour last week that Julio Baptista scored 20-plus goals in a season for Sevilla! Can anyone verify this??? By my calculations for Julio to hit 20 goals in a season he must have played about 140 games. The beast - my arse. Julio, if you are reading and are stuck for the plane fare home to Spain, Brazil or wherever at the end of the season, let me know, I'll pay it for you - so long as you never pull on an Arsenal shirt again!

Paul Jewell has resigned

Maybe I'm being slightly optimistic but I wonder if he'll become the next Leicester Manager. Aside from Man City there isn't going to be another Prem job available (if Sam goes to Newcastle). Leicester with the extra funds for next season could be an entising proposition. Chris Coleman has also been linked which i'd quite like as well.

Hahahaha Sheff Utd - Warnock is a prize cunt - couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.

\o/

Personally I like him. Even though he was particularly ungracious when Swansea City booted them out of the FA cup this year (we had 5 players out as well).

Well Wigan have just relegated themselves for next season - Didn't they learn from Bradford :p
Birmingham are actually a much worse team now than the one that got relegated, they'd played rubbish football all season and are really, really lucky to get promoted - there best players have generally been on loan - so unless they strenghten alot they'll be straight back down. The only team in the playoffs I think could stand a chance are West Brom, Southampton may survive because they have a top, top manager. Derby and Wolves would go down. Fulham are the other team I fear for.

If you're talking about Jewell leaving, I don't think Wigan had much say in the matter.

I was talking about his replacement. Same guy who replaced Paul Jewell when he left Bradford (after keeping them up on the last day of the season). If History keeps repeating itself he'll be sacked before Chrimbo and they'll be relegated ;)

Just saw on the news that Fifa are going to investigate wether West Ham should have been docked points... possibly not over yet?

Yeah, all those high profile clubs he's managed.... Colchester, Ipswich, Derby, Hearts... he's a real "top top manager" in the vein of Ferguson, Mourinho, Clough, Ancelotti, Hiddink, etc.

He's a decent journeyman manager, nothing more. His win ratio at Southampton is 42% - hardly top quality.

It's so unlike you to take something out of context!

Burley is a top manager and generally teams improve to some degree under him, without having to splash the cash and the football he his teams play is good attacking.
