Well to be fair, he never specified gnome in his original post, so I never factored anything that small in.

I think the major problem with gnomes when it comes to fighting is that they have a small body and an ugly bloated HUGE head which must obviously flop about and affect hand eye co-ordination

I could have sworn he referred to himself as a gnome , bah humbug, but halflings are even smaller so all points above are made doubly so
