Just got my mitts on erm a pdf erm containing some interesting information pertaining to the upcoming epic level handbook.

what can I say

WOW ;-)

there is a feat that allows you to launch an arrow at EVERY TARGET within 30ft!

Spells which do 10d6 fire, sonic, cold, lightning damage to everything within 40ft (caster takes 5D6 damage)

And the monsters! move over terrasque your days are numbered... theres an undead with 1500+ hp

A golem with damage reduction of 50/+7 ffs

Personally I think that such items/monsters are way far beyond a "realistic" character level range... I prefer the "little easier", but by rules modified nasties, as you don't feel as though the world's a playground for gods, but actual mortals. Then again, few chars live long enough to get to the really high levels, so by that accound only on a few occasions you need those half-immortal enemies...

As it should be, imho.

After a quick look all I can say is HOLY S**T!!!!!

Some of the spells and feats are mind shattering and I cant wait to get a char that lvl. Spells to summon 10 Adult Red Dragons to do your bidding!!!!! Thats enough to take over your own country alone.

And the way the magic system works :)

Hell ball - 10D6 fire, sonic, cold and electric damage in a 40ft radius (okay you take 5D6 damage but so what!)

a feat to give you true 2 weapon fighting with no penalties. Oh yes

Absolutely nothing wil lbe gained from this doc for NWN :) however if you are a true 3rd dnd player then it might be usefull.

The document is not the final rules btw and is not in a great format for ease of use. So id still recommend buying it when it comes out ...
