Im kicking off a new PBEM.

3.5 DND with some modifications, itll be run using Yahoo groups.

The surmise is fairly simple. I got this feck off huge dungeon. The group of players will be going through it. Roleplay will be fairly light. Combat - Bring it on, itll be a hack fest. probably. ;-)

Just to wet appetite. I randomly turned to a page last night and came across the terrasques nest ... Every monster in the SRD is somehow found in the dungeon.

yeah i'm interested, but i haven't touched DND engine in a LONG time ;) might need some guidelines to the system, if you can throw up a link ;)

yeh, i'd be interested. course, this will make it my 3rd online rpg atm... but not to worry :p (unless others want it, in which case go ahead :))

We starting off above lvl 1? or we expected to have reached lvl 20 or something by the time we get to the tarrasque nest? :p

Do you want to drop the current quest on the boards and go there instead ?

If so then I'm happy to, but if you're staying here then may as well keep going with the current quest till we're done there.

the game on the boards will continue to run .. thats a CUK only game ;-) and ill keep going until people get bored of it ..

The new pbem is for anyone hence advertising on pbem.com and again will run as long as there is interest. But if people have time to play in both then your welcome ;-)

Although the CUK game hasnt run solidly its just gone through 1 year old which im quite proud of.

Guild Wars: Im stuck on the rescue the chosen mission. I keep getting wiped out ;-) I think its very much like an online version of Dungeon Seige. Its fun but wouldnt pay a subscription to play it.

Okies... If your interested pM a character concept and we can take it from there.

As for the terrasque nest ;-) The dungeon is around 1000 pages in size. Its as thick as the phb, dmg and mm all put together. By the time you hit Mr terrasque youd better be in your teens

Ooh I'm up for this Zed, my regular RPG group has fallen apart and haven't played for about 6 months now, which sucks.

I'll pm a character.

PS - Guild Wars could be alot better, but still might be a playable fun game if we had a solid group and there is NO monthly subscription, much more like an FPS, which is kinda the whole point.

Update:

We had someone join, submit a character then leave without word. So I need someone to step into the shoes of a Ranger2/Hexblade1 - Human

Any takers?

Lol, Zed said this would be a hackfest, and so far it has been... and we haven't fought any monsters yet, just each other :)

PS - dunno if you'll be able to join as Zed has started it off already and is currently off on a business trip for 4 days, but we have just found two NPC's, maybe one of them could become a PC with a bit of work? /sly grin
