Adebayour and Arsenal Fans

Ok, what Adebayour did wasn't bright and I don't condone it but he was given a shedload of abuse from the Arsenal fans during the match + most of last season as well while he was playing for them. Some of it was fair, some of it unfair and OTT. Arsenal fans by and large wanted rid of him and they got an amazing price for him. Some were saying they would drive him up to Manchester themselves to 'make sure he'd definately gone'.

So, when he (stupidly) ran 90 yards to "stick one up them" did they really need to start throwing coins, bottles and hurt a steward? Its the old moron attitude that its OK to dish it out but then, when the boots on the other foot, you can't take it, can you boys?

If you start giving some bloke in the pub loads of abuse and he comes up and punches you in the mouth, you can't really complain or be surprised, can you?

He shouldn't have done it but the fans need to look at themselves and belt up as well.
