Well for me I don't think you'll find the pvp that satisfying. it has a more mature game player comunity than other games and as they are still releasing content for higher levels there's still a lot of people questing and such...

Give it a try sure, but I doubt it will 'float your boat' when it comes to pvp gameplay... Sure it has monster play and such but like WoW it's not that ground breaking.

I'm not playing for PvP for once actually playing for PVE until something new PvP wise comes out, it's what I normally do every couple of years take a 6 month sabbatical in PvE land

Yer it's a pretty good game for a sabbatical - took me about 6mths to get bored with it.

Like wow, the quests are very formulaic.

Actually having a bit of a giggle in Oblivion - one quest I've just done just triggered a rain of flaming dogs!!!

that's my only reason, I bought it when it released but never played it, as DAoC is very tedious due to people quitting the ones I know or met while in game I thought I would take my PVE break until War comes along.

as for quests I don't mind doing them if I don't have to solo all the way as that's how RvR/PvP became in DAoC the game is now at the point you have to have a guild to do anything decent, I have a guild but most have upped and quit in the last few months, along with EA basically killing off the game with the NF changes and turning it to shite.
