Picked this up for 20 quid with free strategy guide thrown in off amazon website and going to give it a whirl, anyone else in it since beta finished ?

Had more than enough of beta mate although maybe they've turned it around since then.

Nah didn't take it too much during beta,and all the things that I liked about AC1 have been taken out changed so I gave it a miss. Still play Ac every now and then tho

Wasn't it one of those "a bit rubbish when it launched, but getting better" scenarios?

I think its one of those, "Lets dumb it down for the console market and those who hate stats" scenario.

I dare say it may be laugh on DT though.

thats where I'll be starting up on and gettin griefed as I lvl up know doubt, marvelous! /sigh

Don't worry m8, one day you'll get to level X and you'll be able to tell everyone how much your r0x0r for getting to level X on a PvP server. Then you can grief other people on the way up to make sure everyone has an equally hard time getting to level X.

Well it popped through the door today and I have played it a bit tonight - quite refreshing IMHO and yes very much eye candy so far, will give it a thrash over the next week or so and see what it's like for real. Don't think it likes direct x9 though
