'attunement to the core' quest.

There is a sweet short-cut that involves jumping out of windows, and into lava pits, and across onto islands...Even I managed to take a group of Hordies through so it's not too difficult. Takes about 30-45 mins (and we didn't know what we were doing)...a pro group can do it in about 10mins.

This assumes you have the Blackrock Key
1) Enter instance – 2 monsters in front and a ‘locked’ door to the left
2) Use key to open door – Fire elemental in front (patol) – kill it
3) A door to the right, open and go through
4) A door to the left, open and go through
5) You are now in a room with a staircase to your right going up – take it
6) Go to the top of the stairs and kill any patrols.
7) At the top of the staircase you can..
a) go left
b) go straight on (up another staircase
c) go right
8) Go left
9) Kill all monsters you see along this corridor
(note – you can run thro here and agro everything and when you jump thro window they can’t follow, but if your group dies (and we did) you have to continually run through…so personally it’s better to kill everything)
(note2 – this is where an elite group saves time as they’re not going to die, so will just run through)
10) as you progress along this corridor you will see a window/viewing opening to your right (there is also one on the left)
11) Looking thro the 'right' window and looking down you can see a ledge. Jump onto this ledge
12) Go left along the ledge onto the platform below
a) There is a patrol(5-6adds) here which you can safely ignore or kill
13) Turning right are 2 fire elementals guarding a ‘long corrider’. At approx 1/3 intervals down this corridor are 2 fire elementals at each side. Again either ignore or kill (we killed)
14) The corridor opens up and Emberseer is now in front of you – kill him
15) Now come the tricky bit (remember when in lava to keep jumping as this cuts down damage)
16) Between where the corridor ends, and Emberseer was if you look down over the bridge ‘TO YOUR LEFT’ you’ll see molten lava below.
17) You need to jump down here (into the lava), and as you land a bit in front and to your left you will see a ledge…you need to get to it quickly.
18) Walk along this ledge and you will see an island (in the middle of the lava). With fire elementals on…get across and kill the elementals
19) Again in front of you you will see another island (this has 4 elementals on)
20) You can make the edge of the island without agro’ing the fire elementals and rest.
21) When you are ready kill the first 2 elementals (the far 2 will not be agro’ed)
22) Kill the last 2 elementals
23) You will now see a ramp in front of you and a bridge over head
24) Up the ramp over the bridge killing the fire elementals guarding the bridge
25) Get the Core
26) End
