Anyone using the latest avg free version 9?

Since I installed it I can't view any videos on youtube (like the 1 Zed posted)

Anyone know how to allow it to play?

My avast stopped updating, so I installed avg fre...wishing I hadn't now.

Oh I also disabled in ie settings - avg safe search and installed a 'fix' from the avg forum web site but no joy.

Might re-install avast again I'm thinking.

The free AVG shouldn't stop you viewing any website - did you install the AVG toolbar? If so it may be worth uninstalling that as it's not needed anyway.

Avira is the best free one I've found although Microsoft's new one is supposed to be pretty decent for a freebie.

Nope didn't install the avg toolbar. According to the avg forums this version is fubar.

Common problem with the proggy being over zealous at the mo.

Will try one of the other free ones I think.

Installed the avira anti-vir, but it doesn't have an email scanner in the free version?

Turned out my video issue was adobe 10 needing to be updated and re-installed. - so soz AVG

AVG really clogged up my pc tho....web pages etc take sooo long to load with avg as it is scanning everything and the info on what is ok to switch off are a bit vague, the ones u switch off mean that your avg says u at risk all the time.

Went avast again :D
