If people think that "the Blacklist" bollocks is good then this is also good. It has completed its 1st series (8 hour long episodes) and is basically Deadwood, with a special effects budget.. and pirates.

Special notes:
Keep an eye out for "Billy Bones" (yes they has Treasure Island people in it) who looks like what would happen if the boy from Kes ate half a cow a week and did nothing but dig holes for 10 years. And "Anne Bonny" who is.. well..

Watched this when it was on and loved it. Don't expect it to be dead on historically accurate, though it is a bit more realistic than say Pirates of The Caribbean. Oh and season 1 has Mark Ryan in it (Nazir from Robin of Sherwood, probably our greatest film and tv sword trainer). Its about on a par with Vikings with more sex and swearing. Though no Katheryn Winnick HUBBA
