This features 'Rogue application control' - Outbound application protection which works in a similar way to Zonealarm (but a hell of a lot better)


Anyone who uses defender still let me have:

1. Comments / feedback
2. problems encountered with install - in particular any problem you encounter with your key for the product


If you need help etc shout me and ill give you a hand as im in contact with the product development team here..

Got a new pooter now, had Zonealarm in the other one and it seemed to work fine excpet for net working as I couldn't get it to allow the other pooter to get access to the web pages. Was thinking of going with Black Ice to see if it's better. Any peeps got a preference themselves?

ive got it make sure before you install it do all your updates first cause it check every single friggin file..

id reccomend it though/

I don't mind paying for the product if it is worth it but ZoneAlarm is free and, just having a look at the web site now Black Ice is 27 quid. Is it worth the money spent? I'll shut up now

i used blackice ages ago - thought it was not v.good tbh. Makes one rather paronoid as it used to flash up "ALERT" on every little thing - from Port scanners to game servers - crazy thing!

Zonealarm - good and free - nuff said!

ive had and have been using black ice since the first day it was relased ive never had a problem with it tbh and yes id say its worth it m8.
