Book 12

Doggin' at a spot near you
good for Gaurdians

The Month of the Guardian is here! Guardians are receiving attention to both their primary tanking role and secondary damage-per-second role. We hope you'll enjoy these changes and the new depth they bring to the role of the Guardian.

Already the hardiest class in Middle-earth, the Guardian is able to withstand relentless onslaughts. Capable of maintaining a high level of threat generation, only the foolish and overly aggressive dare try to outpace them. Where this class is weakest is the ability to actually kill their foes.

We do believe that Guardians perform their core tanking role well. The changes in the Month of the Guardian are largely designed to provide interesting and viable alternative playstyles for the class while addressing core concerns such as repair costs and offensive stances.

Red Bull gives me wings!
When Monster PVP'ing I would like it so that the classes are; even though they are labelled 50 actually play like your lvl 50 and not lvl 40, watching monsters trying to take down a captain is a joke due to last stand, its laughable compare to palladins in World of Warcraft with their bubbles. Only way to take down a burgler, Captain is to swarm them with numbers of 4+ and its impossible to go 1 vs 1 until youre at least Rank 5 plus. :lame:
Monsters win by using vast numbers, quite disappointing as I was enjoying it as a spider (crowd control) and got to nearly Rank 3.
We all know Monster play is an after thought and many went back to WOW or wherever because you could not play an orc or Uruk, would be nice in the next book for more Monster rebalancing.

I do hear a new PVP zone is coming and also an instance called Ettendeep, but these dont address the pvp issues of what I realised is quite a nice mmorpg.
