Only protects you from other people looking at your browser history and cookies on your own PC (i.e sod all to do with the stop people getting your personal details from websites and such). And re-directs your start page for the developers website which rumours are is how they are making there money.
Don't touch it with a barge-pole. Going to have to head over to Grandad's at somepoint and remove it cos he's installed it because "BBC said it was good". These crappy IT reports really should do some research before putting there name behind such tosh.
