BSOD!!!

Right my lovely LOTRO people, I seem to be suffering from a BSOD quite a bit in this game infact the first game in years to do such a thing, it happens when I am in a fellowship and we start fighting, things start to chug and boom BSOD and the soundcard making funny noises, usually results in me having to reboot!

Anyone have any ideas as to why this occurs?

I have a GTX 8800 I have done all the tests changed the driver numerous times and still it occurs, checked the temperature nothing.

ive not heard of anything like that cause by the game, yes i get the odd crash out still butit normally random not every time i do somthing.
have you checked you HD, or it could even be a bad install of the game

maybe I need to reinstall the game and see, HD seems fine mate nothing else causes this problem.

I used to get sound loop lock ups when HL2 first came out. I think it was driver related.

It is a bit hard drive intensive tbh. Though Ive never had what you are describing happen. Have a tweak with the gfx settings that apply to fellowships. Thoguh tbh its prolly not that. all sorted installed the latest sound drivers and vidcard drivers and now it's running like a demon, i get on average 150fps

PvP is good to when you get in a good raid group with tactics...
we do still stuggle with the old "chase the lone guy into a zerg" though no matter how loud you shout not to

Monster Play is fun, have a Rank 2 almost Rank 3 Spider at the moment, quite enjoying storming the keep and fighting as a organised group.
