two totally different games, my brother is going to buy me one for the PS3, I have GH:WT, I don't have any driving games on the PS3

What are people's thoughts ?

P.S I know very little about Burnout, I like the look of the new area though, and like the idea of just driving around and bumping into random people (which is the impression I get from the interview I have seen)

RB2, BP is fun but short lived, RB2 shits on GHWT and will is more social so you can play it with Talililili and your massive hamsters.

We don't have Chinchilla's anymore, just Rosie the loony labrador who isn't a fan of the drums. Is BP as I think, open world with lots of other real players driving around at the same time ? Or is it more solo play with an online mode where you invite friends ?

solo play, with an option to invite freinds.
BP is fun, but not long lasting as marks says. i quite enjoyed it for something to play in the middle of raids while waiting for the slacking healers to res my poor tank body.... :p

I'd say Rock Band.

Got my PS3 last weekend and so far i've really liked Uncharted : Drakes Fortune which is much better than the Tomb Raider clone I took it for and Valkerye Chronicles which is a great turn based 3rd person Japanese RPG. Killzone 2 has been a massive letdown though so far and Resistance 2 hasn't really gripped me yet either.

got sacred 2 on friday - its not bad. remind me a bit of an updated diablo (simplistic quests, lots of gear choices, different difficultys with same character, choosing skills before you really understand wtf they do with no way to undo the choice :p)

Get inFamous Soupy, and Killzone 2 I've avoided, all the hype and you don't even have local or on-line co-op, which is pretty wank for this day and age.

And BP dev's are naughty, they kept in interviews talking about certain places to hang out, making it sound very much like people just turned up there at random, and not something organised, but it does have BIG jumps. I have to decide today though, if I leave it longer my brother will forget and I won't get anything

And oohhhh Sacred 2 has 2 player local co-op, that's tempting.

Wearing pants, reluctantly.
BP is awesomes, any of these guitar games are awful and spreading them should be punished akin to purposely infecting someone with aides.

Music games get better with Booze tho, BP just gets unplayable the more drunk you get.

Get inFamous Soupy.

Wasn't keen on the demo to be honest. Seemed to spend most of it running around being constantly shot by numerous badguys who have nothing better to do than hang around on top of tall buildings all day. It also felt and looked like Crackdown which I never got into at all.
I think Prototype might be more to my liking.

Jump onto the roof, shock wave them off the roof, laugh at how that still earns you "good" xp :) I could do that all day

And I went with Rock Band 2, then remember we'll be in rented for a month when moving house and drums+guitar would be a pain, then I said Burnout, then I remembered Fuel and went with that instead. I will get Rock Band 2 when we move in to the new place, and there we'll be able to keep the drums and guitars out all the time so it'll be easier.
