Anyone up for a game of the C&C Generals demo tonight ?

Has anyone tried it on a lower spec machine yet ? i looked at it and it said it needs a 2 gig machine , mine is a P4 1.7 500 ram and and a G4 mx card .

I didnt bother to download it but i will if i think i can run it .

The min spec is 800mhz m8 so you should be fine. But the demo is hurngry and you can't change the res to the lower settings i think.

It works on my 1.2athlon fine m8 so get yer mits on it and we'll have a bash tonight

Any idea where to get the demo from ? i dont have a fileplanet account thingy.

theres a little tick check you have to do when you install something like

2.00ghz or above
512mb Ram
Geforce/Radeon vid card

or something like that, stoopid specs if you ask me, that pretty much excludes 90% of PC users, 99.9% of pc user north of Birmingham

Does the fileplaney hack not work anymore?

bah apprently not, they've sussed me out you used to just put the source file addy in yer brownser with a strategically placed "^777" and it would bypass any queueing system private server.

I guess it won't be out in UK till 14th - but only a few days to go - has anyone played the demo? whats it like?
