As is the way these days everyone is going kickstarter (aka fund my beta for Video games me thinks)

he'll get the funding... a lot of the big video games end up getting funding without much hassle. you in for the 10K or 5K pledge?

Still got two weeks to go hasn't it ? and Kickstarter tends not to run in a straight line on the graph, alot happens at the end in general. As someone who uses Kickstarter quite alot though and enjoyed DaoC the video for this left me stone cold, he's a dull person infront of the camera and with no even early sketches or concept art to show and a release of over a year and a half away it just seems a big risk. May play when it comes out, and I can see it first before handing over money

It has but normally you see a fairly steady day on day plod through the middle. this one is loosing ground each day.

It'll be a shame if it doesn't get enough backers as it'll just confirm to the industry that consumers don't want meaningful RvRvR based games and we'll be stuck with WoW clone number 27 forever... (i pledged ;) )

and it means most new gamers are just too lazy to actually want to compete without easy mode :)

Well it hit the target and I backed it for $25, now to wait 2 and a half years

And it still has 5 hours to go

Same as Gottaa, now he has hit the target i have backed him for $25, lets hope he does it justice and makes DAoC II rather than a bloody awful Warhammer II
