Completed Factions . . . . once

Little Swallow (Mo/Me) finished yesterday. Rather a nice finishing area. All the NPCs you have met are there to congratulate you. She only did the Luxon quests and has 46 unused skill points!

Think I'll take DarkSwan through now as a minion master and go the Kurzick route. God but those street area quests around Kaeneng Centre are boring. I'm going to rush (relatively speaking) him past these to begin with - just missions - and go back later if I'm bothered about the xp/skill points.

You do need to get the quest 'Battle In The Sewers' though if going the Luxon side or you end up with no primary quest. Might be the same Kurzick side as well. I dunno yet. That had me stumped for a short while. Keep checking at 'Maatu Keep' and 'Raisu Palace' for new quests and you should be OK.

Well done, I don't think I'm too far behind you, but I've been busy trying to get all 4 of my toons on the primary account upto the Cavalon point so I can do the 10k faction for 10k xp quest before I burn it all and turn it into Jade ...

Takes a while working on four (or perhaps even six now) characters at one time. I did that at one stage with Prophecies (2 of which now deleted).

I stopped a while in Fort Aspenwood doing the PvP mission for luxon faction (400 even if you lose) and XP. Now have 30 jadeite. In fact I reached the 10K faction mark (and befriended) much more quickly than I would have done by doing the quests. (Although I have done them all now except two.)

The quality of PvP here is particularly poor it has to be said. I ran a boon prot build in FA but couldn't believe how poor my opponents were at killing me. It would sometimes take 3 melee to take me down - even when I'm keeping Life Bond on two others!!! Not my experience in Random Arenas where I regularly got slaughtered.

The whole point of FA (Luxon pov) is to get into the furthermost area and kill the boss within 10 minutes. Getting bogged down in pitched battles before this point is a waste of time. Sure you have to take out the NPC defenders, but then move on. The turtles are fun (even if they die, they respawn periodically at the originating commander so you can get another).

Eventually of course it does get a bit boring. So then I moved on with the main plot. Will be interesting to try that one from the Kurzik side.
