i really hope diablo 3 makes it, and is better than the last two, it would be amazing...

however i really have my doubts, the creators of diablo have all left now (i think?) and as for the game now, it would have to be different in quite a few ways, you can't just expand on diablo2 again this time, it would get tired fast. plus the way we play online games, and "online games" in general has changed so much, a 6 player party would seem so lonely... i would love it, but i'm really doubting (even if they do make it) that its gonna be as good as the last ones.

course, theyd have to decide on where they want the storyline to go, and the universe is a bit of a mess atm

dont suppose anyone knows any new info on SC:Ghost do they? might be they need a new project lead for that? but dont see why it would be the diablo team... oh well...

and on the 6-person-party front... thats what Tabula Rasa's gonna be, and i'm definately looking forwards to that

incidently, in that job offer, dont you love the way it basically says "To get this job, you must have done the exact same job before, and done it well. And it better have been a damn good game too. if not, **** off."... it strikes me that if all game companies need this, theres gotta be a diminishing number of lead games designers out there, since there wont be any new ones

Yup theres certainly a huge overlap between lots of d2 bits and bobs and WoW, assasin/rogue combo points, spell types, abilties all ring bells from the ol d2 days

WoS or S2 would both make me drool profusely. SC is the best RTS ever created. Also amazingly balanced, unlike every other RTS ever =P

As for D3, I doubt it. Almost the entire developement team is gone from Blizzard now and not having them could seriously compromise the feel of any Diablo sequel. Plus, I can't really think of anywhere they could go with it beyond what they've done. Any sequel would probably feel like more of an expansion than an entirely new game. However, if they *could* keep the feel of Diablo, I would definitely buy it.

WoS would be way hotter though. DT/Corsair rush 4evah!
