Anything coming ut of Black Isle studios is F**king brilliant if you ask me, they have only ever put one foot wrong (The heart of winter, which blew).

If any of you havent noticed it yet there is a NWN's vid file on some of the earlier BG2 CD's, I think Disc 1. If you fancy a drool go and watch it!

But lets face it, Black Isle have come through in genre with the kind of prowess that the original diablo had. Can not wait for this game to turn up, even if i can only play it for an hour a week I will because there is one thing that seperates these games from all others.

They are worth what you pay for them just for the story, the games last, and months after purchase when you complete them you never feel as though you have wasted your hard earned dollars. NWN will be no exception to this.

Umm.......count me in I guess!

I don't actually think Black Isle have had any input in NWN or at least not since Bioware and Interplay split.

It complicated and I worked for Interplay for a while and even I'm not too sure how it worked but I think Black Isle are the RPG division of Interplay and released the IWD games in their own right but BG, BG2, Planescape and I think particularly NWN are mostly Bioware games although Black Isle had a hand in them.

I could be wrong and not that it matters anyway really but thought you might like to know. Maybe someone else can confirm.

Reading a few things you appear to be mostly correct there. The situation has been solved however and they are aiming a release of NWN sometime in autumn this year, if all go's well.

The solution seemed to be that Bioware were sueing Interplay for selling some products without licence but they have reached an agreement now and have also been talking to the people who bought HASBRO (who have a D&D licence) about development and publishing.

Thats my understanding of it anyway!
