Disbanding the Guild in 7 days

It's been unviable for quite some time. In fact I seem to be the only one playing.

I cannot leave the guild without kicking everyone out and officially disbanding it.

If someone else wants to be leader, that would avoid the official disband, but I shall be leaving anyway to be recruitable elsewhere.

Ta.

Whether we keep the forum up is a separate issue. There may be some value in it since several people have played outside of the CUK guild. Straw pole at a later date I think.

BTW Not having a hissy fit ;) I just seem to be purely interested in PvP nowadays so REALLY do need to get into a PvP guild. That's all.

Have fun :)

Yes I know ;)

Unfortunately GW has it's failings in the PvE respect - instanced and all,
and that is why CUK ultimately didn't take to it I think.
(I'll do a rounding-up post on the day.)

However, the consentual PvP metagame is quite interesting.

Not really getting the best from it in Random Arenas tho. Need to be more organised in a team sense.

(I'd be prepared to give Darkfall a go tho if it ever emerges.)

Never would have thought I'd become a PvPer :whip:

PvP strikes when you least expect it, i must admit i love watching a player turn to the darkside, but prefer it to be a complete carebear who hated PvP to start :)

hope you enjoy it i was in GW when it began in a US guild called SB we were in the top 5 but that only lasted for 2 months and we all died of boredom so moved back to DAoC when they released the classic servers.

Well I became a countermeasure-cheater in DII (pre-CUK) and hence won't touch another Blizzard game, if that counts.

You kept that quiet. I'll remember not to join a CUK guild in the future. Erm . . . .

SB - Almost missed that. That'll be 'Sissy Boys'. You were quite famous for a while. Am I right?

we were in the original SB mate Short Bus, we actually started before the Sissiy Boys, they were top though and we were below them, i played long before anyone in CUK had the game as well, so i had already finished it before people began to play, originally a war/elem switched to war/monk and it suited the guild more.

Awww. I was preparing to be seriously seriously seriously impressed.
You must have been way early beta then.

There was something about clan beta entries in Darkfall on their website, and I'm sure it was mentioned here too somewhere. I must go look and make sure I'm in.

Still pop in & out of GW but nowhere near as much as I used to, I'm afraid that WoW takes much more of my time as I play with people that I know in RL etc. but if you want to pass the leadership back to me just to keep the Guild going (I remember it took a lot to get the coins needed to set up our Guild Hall which would be a pity to loose) & then if someone else who plays a bit more wants to take over at a later date I can arrange to swap over to them.

Hope you have fun when you find the right PvP Guild DS & maybe see you in game again sometime :)

Disbanding averted. Coalman is the leader now.

I shall be de-guilding and going looking for a PvP guild in a day or so.

Will keep posting here though while it is still useful.

Have fun :)

Thanks for taking the reigns, Coalman. Haven't been playing regularly for a while (having a bit of crisis at work), but I'm hoping to get back into it come the Autumn.
