Theres a review of Dungeon Siege in this months PC Zone.

It a good review although they say that the innovations are in the interface and character development rather than any breakthrough in RPG gaming. Looks good though.

Do we yet have any ideas about the ClanUK set up for this new game ?
I understand that interface wise it will be similar to D2 with chat rooms to organize parties for games etc ??

Amazon has it for �25.99. Release date 19th April

As we usually get 2 (sometimes 3 copies) it's a big saving for waiting a couple weeks.

Also just looked at Heroes IV on stragetic and that is at �40+ whereas Streets-on-line has it at �27.99

If people are willing Ill riun the CUK aspects of DS

Once I get it ill suss out how the online stuff works and we can go from there. Probably follow same kind of structure for passwording as we have in D2 ...

One thing about DS is the ability to create new worlds / mods etc. Anyone fancy looking into this as well? (might be somethign to do on a train ever day .. heheeh)

The new worlds/mods look interesting...but think I'll play the game first for a few months, before delving into that area....

However 1 thing we will need to agree on is can we play other "Not" ClanUK worlds/mods. I would suggest yes, but that is 1 opinion from many

Although I would look to host those mods within CUK rather than us going off and getting PK'd (if option is available for party combat) - Otherwise its a case of join what ever and have loads a fun...

That should be WTF do PC Zone know about any game mate! Apart from Anderson maybe but then his favourite game is EQ.

Oh, and Rhianna Pratchett could tell me the moon was made of cheese and I'd find it hard to disagree with her.

PC Zone - games - hmm yeah.... FPS, sports and flight sims they know about - most everything else remains a mystery to them.

(mind you the MMOG/RPG guys for Future Pub etc aren't much better)

Funnily enough, DD, the PCGamer guys have got a new freelancer who actually plays MMORPGs and has a pretty good idea of how to go about writing about them. Can't remember his name off the top of my head, tho.
