Yea, I played for a bit on project 989 or whatever its called. Its not fun anymore.

Installed this (tiny 500mb file!) and logged on for a quick look last night.

Shockingly old graphics, but might worth a look for free

I couldn't see my Shadow Knight I had, or get on Runnyeye/splitpaw but I think that was because it was not available on the f2p model.

The funny thing is, I heard of Clerics soloing the Avatar of War, so not much of a run that needs organising. ;-)

I am so tempted, my magician only got to lvl 61 at the time max level was increased to 65. I see now its 95.

I logged in yesterday and had more window pop ups than a dodgy haxxorz site.
Not a clue what is going on, might make a character and start from the beginning just to get my bearings again. Is there any way I can see a spell description in game? I can't even figure out what my spells do anymore and as a shaman thats not good .

I recently went back to EQ and played it for half a year or so. Started completely over. I have a 40ish Necro and 82 SK with 500 or so AAs. I had a lot of fun, but a lot of things changed. Most for the better, but getting spells and gear can be a pain most levels.

The game is a lot of fun again, but I missed you lot too much to stick with it. You can solo a lot further than you used to, but at a certain point you just need groups, no getting around it. And finding some that will take you is not easy. Still, it made me wish UK was still around.

what server did we used to be on, I thought it was Bristlebane, but now of my chars are there lol

Logged in - all my equipment is unusable, as they are prestige items and you have to pay to use 'em. Sod that

Maybe it's not the gear, my brother had the same problem, until he removed the gems (or whatever EQ equivalent is)
