Something from an interview at Sony:
A number of elements will connect EQ to both EQOA and EQ2 says Rod Humble, Executive Producer of EverQuest, Were going to be building EQ2 to have a slightly different appeal so that those who might not have found exactly what they were looking for with EverQuest can try the EQ2 world instead".
Looks like EQ2 may be Vernat's answer to AC2 and be more accessible and dumbed down. I'm wondering if a developer will ever create a true successor to their already establised MMG's. Why create something that will compete with one of your own products.
