What's the game like now Z? Love D&D but never tried this - did a lot of people stop playing it?

I only stopped playing as i couldnt afford it at the time and at the moment moving and being engaged and all!

Will hopefully be playing again once I get more sorted

Its depends what you want from an MMO. The best thing about DDO is the instanced - private dungeons which are great - all hand crafted and look brilliant. The closeness to DnD pnp rules and the loot system

That said - people missed the open exploration of say WoW. Git disliked the lack of PvP and some of the grind and difficulty in getting a guild group together.

Those few of us left have open invites to join Destruction breeds chaos which are an excellent guild - look after people and can regularly put raid groups together (of 12 people)... taz is more active there than I am as im tied up with some other projects currently.

I try and get on when I can, but only got low lvl toons, will be mid aug before I get real time,

Tried out a little of the new content today, I like the patron system,mail system, increased inventory, solo missions option for harbour quests all in all quite a good patch, not had a chance to hit the new missions yet though.

Game now feels and looks finished for release rather than what rolled out all those months ago
