You would never believe the hassle you get if they don't leave you the correct disks.
Alan works for them and it took over 3 weeks to get the driver disk as the engineer forgot to give it to us, and he uses a laptop to check that it works NOT your PC, so if anything is wrong with your connection, but he says it works ok for him, then it's a 50p a minute "help line" with stoodents reading from badly written scripts to try and sort you, this will take a week of ringing before they admit that you "don't seem to have the correct disk, I'll send your problem to second line..." who take a week of telling you,(STILL at 50p a minute) that you must have mislaid them.On week 3 they will "send you another driver disk" cos you lost yours!.... when it gets to you... it's the "welcome to BT we're great" CD again!<take a deep breath, lots of commas and brackets in next paragraph too>
This time however you can really get nasty with the woman at 150 (it isn't owt to do with her, but if you buully her in a polite, but nasty way, she will refund you some charges, good job as you have paid for 3 weeks of internet that you have not had). This leads to you asking to speak to a supervisor(it isn't anything to do with them either BUT they can seem to get things moving as long as the staff you last talked to isn't in tears) and the supervisor will get hold of someone at BTClick... who will actually send you the correct disk.
That is if he hasn't been sacked for giving out "freebie" disks.
