Souness came out today and said that he wouldn't consider taking Michael Owen on loan having had a bid accepted by Real of over $25mill (Owens agent had told them before they bid he wouldn't join them btw).
Around the same time Freddie Shepherd came out and said Real have refused to consider loaning him to Newcastle having had a bid accepted from them.
