not entirely certain this is the right place to post this but I've just watched a few episodes of an anime series called "hack.sign".
The story is based on a kid who gets stuck in a MMORG. While others can log in and out, start rhumours on the BBS and generally come and go as they please, this kid cannot log out and is forced to live, smell, taste and be a part of the virtual world.
References are made to IRL, BBS etc and the characters start asking themselves questions like, "why did I start playing this game in the first place?". I get the impression the series was contributed to by people who have spent many a weekend glued to their console, playing UO, Meridian and Sony's one (can't remember the name). Well thought out series with only tiny glimpes of the real world just to let you know they know it still excists.
Basically I wanted to recommend it to everyone wether you're into Japanese Animation or not. If you can't find it on Kazaa or the net gimmie a call and I'll find a way of getting it to you. Also I only have eps 1-7 so if anyone has more of the fansubs can you let me have them please?
