Well for those who've been wondering where I've been over the past few weeks..I decided to take a break from FFXI, and I've got to say I didn't miss it at all.
I have been reading the forums though, they are alot more fun than the game itself now lol.
I guess I'm writing this because of Uhe's recent post and also Ritter's post in the private forum to try and explain my point of view.
I have nothing whatsoever to achieve in the game anymore, I've got whm at 75 (which has been almost a year now, with a shitload of merits), rng at 73 (really cba to xp), and alot of other jobs lvled, nin at 54, smn at 38 (Fenrir owner;p), blm at 37, brd at 32. I think I've got the Uberest equip for both whm and rng (blessed gear and all +1 crap). I've done god fights, I've done most HNM's, I've lvled Alchemy to 93ish. I really can't think of anything left to do. Rank10 done, Dynamis done, 1000000 quests done, I can make silly amounts of gil via crafting, so if anyone has got an idea what else I can do, I will take suggestions quite seriously.
Uhe, if you go, I will really miss you, you are the only person I ever really talk to (apart from Milii). Email or MSN me Uhe.
Ritter, dont get dismayed about where your future is in-game, this game hasn't been in UK/Europe for that long (I play on JP import), you will get Sky access, you will do Gods and HNMs, it just takes time. In the meantime, enjoy yourself by lvling something else, crafting (lotsa gil to be made), or by just spending your time with friends.
On a final note, I maybe online this week to see if I can find anything to do but I WILL NOT be on ls, and I am going to be blatantly blunt about this, because of personality conflicts. I do not want to log in and get on LS and get so pissed off that I end up logging out.
Anyway, I've babbled alot (as usual). you are a good bunch of guys and girls (well most of you, haha).
send me a tell if ya want, I do have one thing to offer, is experience, I've played this game for 2 years now, I've been through alot, if I can help in the way of advice etc, please ask.
