Whilst I'm not about to quibble with those who adopted the term for lvl 9 hardcore duel races, there were actually ironman rules for D2 written up by the original bunch of ironman fanatics from Diablo. These can be found here: http://realmsbeyond.net/diablo/forge.html
Although the 'grand guide' is destined to remain unfinished, the ruleset is laid down. Restrictions/allowances are pretty good, but there's no reason you can't tweak/completely ignore according to personal preference. Written before the expansion, common sense should still help to deal with talking to quest npcs/quest rewards in act5 etc.
I'd possibly be up for this, although WoW and work take up the majority of my time these days, so I'd require times to be clearly stated and loosely adhered to, which is always a problem

Is tomorrow night too short notice? If we do saturday I would have to wimp out about 1ish (2 at very latest) as I get up early on a sunday
Yes to starting new chars, we can argue about what type of game on the night.
Suggest we join up in clanuk1 at 9 to do so.
May aswell sort out what kinda chars folk are going to start while we are here. I am happy to do either 'zon, Pally, Necro, Barb in that order am really crap at Sorcs and aint got round to other two
