I was on a SCI server on Insurgent camp today. I noticed alot of people getting kicked by PB for md5 tool mismatch map/mountain ambush.aao . When did SCI official servers start doing MD5 checksums? I noticed that is also kicking people that dont cheat... It was kicking everyone!! I wonder if its just a bug with PB and SCI or are our AAO system files corrupt? Can anyone shed a little light on a PB noob?

We had a major glitch tonight on our server during a match with {PECK} company. I think we would all like to know what is going on. They were all for mountain too.

Do you know which SCI server it was? Is it leased by a clan, or is it an Official Server?
Try and get ahold of the admin for the server and ask him whats going on.

yes its an offical leased.. We even rebuilt it.. we dont know what is going on. and now im getting kicked for mountain pass md5 tool mismatch. I even updated my pb manually.. im at the correct version. i went to evenbalance and got it.

Please make the kicking stop, it even kicks you when are logged on as admin........ this bites

this was happening to us all last night too - at a very random rate. reason given: "Mountain Ambush.aao". tried changing maps. tried rebuilding server - all to no avail.
Made me wonder if it was some kind of new hack redirecting PB at a different player than the cheater, if that's possible...

It might be related, or maybe I've just been unlucky, but night before last playing Pipeline I got a massive ROE having done nothing and earlier in the week got kicked for PB violation, again for no percevied activity. Very odd.

just make sure you don't play in windowed mode on our server - we usually have an extra few checks running to kick people who have switched to windowed - think it comes up as "czar violation..." plus a few others that check for tinkerings done to eg gamma - but these wouldn't affect you unless you actually went to the ini file and retyped your settings.
there does seem to be a bug every now and then that auto-kicks people for being afk even when they've been running about like a loon past two rounds. doesn't happen often enough to worry about though.

I was most impressed tonight, Clan UK server showed up in my list even if there was no-one there as middle of your day and you were all at work or whatever it is you do.
Parents leave next week so life might return to normality and will be able to be online a bit more.
