I've never been a fan of the wabbling oversinging style she has (like Mariah, Celine, Whitney and Axl Rose).

However on guilty pleasures I really liked 'Patience' by Take That and pretty much every Sugarbabes single ;)

Oh and extensions I think :)

Leona Lewis has an amazing voice, every song she brings out should be a standard but Mr. "lowest-common-denominator" Simon Cowel keeps feeding her shit song after shit song.

Gulty pleasures for me atm are Duffy and gabrielle Cilmi. Duffy though needs to lose Bernard Butler and the tit from catatonia who are moulding her behind the scenes to be just another Amy. her album shows sign that she could be very interesting if let to go her own way.

This girl is frikking amazing, and a babe to boot, best looking opera singer since Frederica von Stade. Saw her playing Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro and she sang the Mozart just as well as the Handel in these clips

Saw Duffy live wednesday at the Indigo2, good little voice she has until she starts talking and then i want to hit her with a cricket bat.

Saw also Keane, James Morrision, Adele and The Feeling alongside her for the radio 2 live event. and have to say The Feeling are great live if u ever get a chance to see them.

Catz - I think its great too, I'm not a huge fan of the girlie singer type but Leona has an amazing voice.
My guilty pleasures include the X factor - anyone see Rhydian on there last Sat? I didn't like his song much but thought his voice blew everyone else out of the water.

The "boy band " make me laugh. Why have 4 people singing a song and all singing the same note? Surely if you have more than one person singing, harmony has to come in to it somewhere? I suspect Ruth got more votes than the little boy, but:

A the little boy is Simons act

B Danny wont be doing the show next year as Simon reckons he needs a " Male Cheryl" I.E Robbie Williams, Ronan Keating or garry barlow as a judge and they could hardly leave her with a chance of winning the final and then sacking her.

The best female singer was voted off weeks a go by the judges protecting their own mediocre acts anyway.

X Factor is ok I suppose as an entertainment show if your into that kind of thing, but it's hardly a serious music talent show :p
The judges : The 2nd worst singer of a girlband who sell more callenders than records. Miss living in the shadow of her big sister. The man who created Westlife (blandest boyband ever) and of course Mr. Anti Music himself.

Isnt X Factor 'owned' by Simon anyway under Syco? So really its up to him who gets signed and who doesnt?

Wonder if he'll sign Ruth. He really liked her ;)

Well after the weekend it appears all you have to do is mime, waddle around stage with your arse hanging out and be rude when interviewed to get a standing ovation from the judges ;)

Anyone see it? Was it as bad as the press is making out.

She was very lumpen compared to her earlier days, she used to command the stage, slinking round like a cat, totally in charge ( wether u think she is good or bad, she was good at the onstage logistics stuff). Now she seems nervous and going through the motions a bit.

That was horrible, surely the audience told to scream and cheer? The song sounded rubbish as well :p

I saw Blondie 2 years ago, despict the fact Debbie was over 60 at the time she had far more zest and charisma than Product Britney will ever have.

Problem with Britney is she it just a product now. She doesn't write any of her material and I doubt she has any say in which songs are on her album, or which music direction she takes, she never sings live and rumours are that she doesn't actually do much singing on her albums either. She just the pretty face to the sell the product.
Problem is now she's abit of mess and doesn't look so pretty anymore and her dancing looks wrong I wonder how long the management pulling the strings will hang on to her before they start looking for the next young naive thing, depends on how successful this whole 'comeback' angle they are pulling works (and if Britney her can sort herself out!).
