I heard Tyler (I think it was) mentioning Arsenal fans saying they'd rather Liverpool win the title than Manure.

I despise both of them and the only team I hate more is Spurs, obviously.

That being said, I'd sooner Manure won it as it's just another title for them (aside from drawing level with the Scousers on most titles won) whereas the last time the Bin Dippers won it, the Roman Empire was still going strong. If they won they'd be insufferable so they can fuck right off

I've seen some of the shit from Manure fans claiming we rolled over or played a weakened team with an eye towards Europe. Err........we have no one else to play!

Gallas is out for the season. Djourou is injured. Almunia is injured. Clichy is injured. Sagna is just back from illness and had a shit game. The alternative at right back was Ebou� and whilst he's a half decent right winger on his day he's not exactly the best full back in the world. Gibbs is pretty decent but he's a kid and got fuck all support from Silvestre who was also shite.

If anything, Song and Arshavin were rested against the Chavs.

You could of course say Walcott was left out but he had to play at the weekend seeing as we didn't get the luxury of a full week off. RvP and Ade were injured but we scored 4 (some might argue 5 or 6) so that's hardly as valid complaint.

In short, whining Manure fans should be glad we didn't bottle it and go down 4-1 like they did

I grew up with watching Liverpool win everything. It got really boring, just like seeing ManUre win everything now.

I don't want either of them to win the title but I'd have to choose Man U over Liverpool simply because of the sicophantic media lovefest over a team that fields barely an English player - it also seems to have no youth system either or at least not one that puts forward English players into the 1st team, unlike Man United or West Ham.

Wenger began sorting out our yoof system when he arrived so we're starting to see kids like Gibbs and Wilshere.

We have had Kerrea Gilbert on a season long loan from Arsenal. He'd played alot and seems to have been fairly good, overshadowed abit by Hobbs. Not sure whether we'll try (or tried) to sign him or not.

Gilbert was pretty pro when he got a few first team games a couple of seasons back.

I seem to remember him putting in a good cross for Henry to score.

You've got a bargain with Hobbs, that sums Benitez up - he never gives local lads a chance as many of them go elsewhere and do well. Why the fool sold Steven Warnock is anyone's guess.

He's definately worth �400,000 gamble, he's certainly got a chance at being a solid premiership defender, maybe even better. He should develop well next season playing at Championship level.
