Replayed the ending with the Extended Cut last night.

Dramatic improvement imo.

Downloaded it but haven't had chance to view it yet. I guess it's killed off indoctronation theory though?

which seems like a bit of a missed opportunity really - they had a chance to 'see, it WAS planned all along! how clever are we?!' and instead have gone with 'no, all the hints we put in were entirely accidental. it was rubbish all along. whatevs.'

managed to redo the last mission once, did the destruction ending, and it is a lot better. If they'd have come up with that one originally I think most people would have been happy with it.
