Minecraft terrafirmacraft

Just a quick note to say I'm playing terrafirmacraft. It's a mod, but more like a total overhall of minecraft. It's now a lot more dangerous with mobs around, animals don't respawn (you need to farm them) and a lot of crafting is getting quite realistic. you have seasons, crops take ages to grow, animals take ages to reproduce (you need to breed them) as have a more natural gestation period. You need to prospect for ore and the whole mod just feels a lot more natural.

I don't realy know what mods compliment it yet so just have nei and this installed. it's quite an easy setup with multi mc to get all the bits (I put the mod zips on my google drive if you can't figure it out give me a shout).

After a week I have a stone roof on my wooden house and feel an incredable sense of achievement doing it. Yes I know it sounds simple, but trust me this stuff is a lot harder now but very rewarding when you do it.

Just clicked, why are you using NEI? Surely that defeats the purpose of this overhaul?

Edit: just realised that you are prolly using it for the recipes :)

Oops I ment rei's (mini map) not nei sorry (entities off so no seeing mobs). Nei may work though and would be handy as there's planks logs and sticks so some recipies have changed...

I was thinking about that rockcraft or whatever it was called mod that had stone teleporters but can't remember it's name.... Do you remember Gottaa?
Thaumcraft would also be a logical choice but the ore's all different so I'm not sure it would work.
