Belive the hype, cracking film, great special effects, good lot, nice twists and turns, probably the best "view" of the future we've had for a long time on the silver screen.

Miss this one at your peril

Top notch film this, with the most fully realized future world scenario since Blade Runner.
Vertical freeways, holographic TV's, advertsing that singles you out personally, retinal scanning, cereal packets that sing to you even.
The plot is cleverly constructed and story zips along, although the end is a little weak.
But overall, it's a nice change to see a big Hollywood movie that isn't afraid to treat it's audince like adults.

I loved this movie, very clever plot, excellent special effects
I think it would have raised some very interesting human rights ethical issues if it hadn't been what i consider scientifically impossible (however good your technology)
Plus the film had a few too many messy paradoxes.

The film is quite dark in terms of what the Tom Cruise character has to endure and what his history is...but I wouldn't call the world portrayed here "dark" as in say Blade Runner dark.
Plus, without giving anything away, it has a fairly typical touchy-feely happy ending.
Well that's Spielberg for you :)

hmmmm

I agree with cluster here, too many paradoxes. One major one and a few little uns. but I'm being pedantic here, its a good watch and would recommend it.

I'm not usually keen on time travel, pre-cogs (or whatever ya wanna call them) as I do'nt believe in that sorta stuff. but I did like this. Apart form the big paradox and the major flaw (like they didn't erase his retina permissions the second he went awol, come on, the second someone hands in thier notice at my place thier puter/clocking in rights are removed), I think its a class film.

Good film, let down by a weak ending I thought. Not really one you would watch twice though.
