Mirage were a very high end Uber guild, made up from asian players if I remember. So a little bit like Fires of H, After Life and Arch Overseers (sorry I couldn't help myself!) :)

They are known for bringing those flash movies of the game to the community for quite some years. As Hath has alluded to, AO is first to the post on most things these days, across all servers. Cross Server Guild Progression Chart Its a pain in the ass though as SoE have historically released unfinished content. We got to Tacvi and found it totaly and utterly broken for over a month, allowing lots of others to catch up.

On the positive side, it meant a lot of hours spent in the company of the lead devs, so I can attest first hand that SoE have totally changed in their outlook and approach to customers in the past year or two. I was hugely anti SoE and EQ, but am now very encouraged with regards to SoE and EQ2.


For those who aren't aware, the majority of the content in the last expansion was designed for lvl 70 characters, but then they decided to put back the character level increase to lvl 70 for the upcoming expansion. A number of the folks who were involved in the design refused to change anything, ultimately leading them to part company and Smedley to make a public apology for the farce that was/is Gates of Discord.

Such a shame - not so long ago that chart would have featured UK for Bristlebane with the others.....

Use to be in Nexxus of Faith on Torvonnlious.

Shame to see such problems among the Dev staff, hope they can iron out the problems with EQ2
