You're kidding, right?

I've done both. Left FFXI to play WoW, 3 months later cancelled WoW and went back to FFXI (which I never cancelled, coz in my heart of hearts I knew it was the best). You choose to play either a game that's immersive, varied and challenging ~ or take a paddle in an ameoba's paddling pool (ie shallow).

Just my opinion, but it's valild.
