Roger that. Just found how to do Guild Chat, sorry if anyone has been pinging me and Ive not answered. The chat thing is a bit arcane and needs user friendlying in my opinion.

As I have said in another post I am currently playing on the Underworld server with a RL mate and his son (and his ~3 friends). Now before I up sticks and leave them to join the chimp house on Piken Square, how would we stand having them join us as well? Just thinking that way we can all move at once.

I have a feeling my mate has been a member of CUK previously as Suggs or Suggsy but am not 100%, I know he was a member of Self Preservation Society which was the guild a lot of CUK folks joined when ClanUK broke down on WoW.

He has tonnes of game experience like us and I'd have no fear of sponsoring him as a full member, nor his son come to that.

Anyway, thought I would ask, I am guessing it would be the usual process of an in game invite and an application on the forums here then a voting process if we are up for them joining ClanUK itself?

I�ll be chatting to him tonight about it more, but figured I�d ask about it first.

In all honesty do we still vote new people in? asking as it's been that long since CUK had any game presence, we can easily work out if they are liked or right for the guild without a vote, I would say sign upto the guild and forum and that's it.

Since enabling registration again today we've already had three russian spambots try to register. You'd think they'd learn that they can't post until the account is approved....

hmm, yes that does seem to be an oversight. I've upgraded your account based on the fact you joined in 2007, have been around a while and don't appear to be a c*nt :D

There you can see those trying to register for accounts, as well as non and trial members. If you see any accounts there that need changing let me know. For now the awaiting email confirmation and awaiting moderation queue all seem to be spam bots that have registered since I re-enabled the option....

up to around 90 spam bots now.....

really need some better forum software, was looking at xenforo but future development is in limbo and I don't want to upgrade vB because a) it's shite now and b) Internet Brands, the company that bought Jelsoft, is a hive of villany and evil.
