new patch?

is it right that the pre-expansion patch came out this week, and its got loot 2.0 in it?
if yes, is anyone playing?

Probably not likely to play much until the actual Expansion is out - There is a big POE patch due early next week which should tide us over though.

After unistalling and moving DII to a roomier locale on my pc it was quite fun last night.

Feels a bit weird having all your chars at the same level, didn't get a chance to try out my monk as I was enjoying playing my Wizzy. Frozen Orb's back, much fun!

annoyingly, i get back from skiing on the 24th, so can't get any more hols that week really ah well. at least the GF is understanding about me sitting there playing D3 all evening

I've been having a quick play the last couple of nights, quite enjoying it again. Still not really got any idea about equipment, gems etc but not too fussed so long as my wizard is still pwning everything with the big wide death ray thing. Got a couple of drops within about 5 minutes of playing that improved damage massively, so I guess that's L3wt 2.

First 30 mins on any char will pretty much double dps and HP pools due to new itemisation. The curve levels out greatly from there.

Still get intersting, weird n wonderful affixes to gear thats dropped though. I have gloves that drop gold round my feet after every 'massacre'
