Iv been waiting ages for this, I used to play the original HL mod loads!
Chick its a FPS but with base building, each side has different ways of doing it. The marines resource are spent by the commander, 1 player takes this role, he has a top down view of the battle, like a RTS. He can spend resources by dropping supplies, health, weapons. But only near marine structures. He needs the other players to build these structures he drops.
The aliens share resource each player can spend it on morphing to different species, and on upgrades to that species. Theres also a builder/healer species that can build structures which add benefits to nearby players and other buildings. There also the only class that can heal players.
