From what i've heard Conan has been put back to the end of 2009 for the 360. To be honest given the problems it has on the PC I doubt there will ever be a console version.

Hmm are there no 14 day trials running, I don't mind paying a subscription but for some reason it irks that all the online stuff I've done still is looking for a boxed copy serial code :/

Lots of Tier 4 stuff. He was playing our Hunter and got the legs (Gruul actually dropped 2 lots of the same T4 legs!). Me playing our Resto Shammy won nothing :p

Doesn't surprise me. We actually took it down on our first go as a guild, and more than half the people had never been there before - it did seem rather easy and I think only 2 people died in the entire encounter. Gruul took 2 goes but the first go was someone moved into the cave to early and agro'ed him!
There were much tougher fights in Karazhan - it's still very easy to wipe on the Prince if you get unlucky with the pesky infernals and Aran has the habit of going strangly wrong occasionally.
We are having trouble in Z'A though 2 bosses down with ease and boss 3 we have got once, hoping the gear improvement we get for Gruul/Maggie will make Z'A easier - then onto the Coilfang raid thingy.

Hmmm, still need to get my rogue to 70 so I can join in my guild's Kara runs... might have to renew subscription at the end of the month. Are Blizzard still doing the "entice someone with more money than sense, get a free month yerself" deal?

i'm guessing the ones that most guilds have trouble with.

the ones that require skill rather than pressing button X when Addon Y tells you too.

Oh i miss raiding.

Which one you having troubles with in ZA Janie ?

Last night I went to Z'A for the first time as we had enough people for 2 groups, our group downed the Bear boss (easy), the Bird boss (easy, and I had a starring role with chain healing madness :) ), and the Lynx boss (after a couple of wipes). Appariently it's the 3rd boss (between Bird and Lynx) than we haven't downed yet if that means anything to you.

Very boring loot :p

They ruined ZA when they nurfed it imo, mind you as you say the loot isnt great specially compared to the sunwell badger items so the risk/reward is probably about right now.

I do like 10 man stuff tho, Kara and ZA are probably my favourite places in TBC, MH has its moments but BT bored the shit out of me.

10 man versions of all the raid dungeons is what interests me most about WOTLK as i like the idea of being able to see all of the game without having to be guilded with too many euro-cunts.

Dont start that one again, it went from BT guilds only clearing it, to random pugs farming bear mounts almost overnight. There were also direct changes to encounter mechanics like the Dragonbird boss, also you eat cock and ask for seconds.

I really like Karazhan, being 10 person makes it better - you actually feel you can make a difference. The whole haunted house theme of Kara was really well done, most of the Boss fights are well designed (aside from The Prince which is just down to luck) and things like the Opera and Chess are nice touches. Having seen Z'A for the first time i'm not so impressed with that, isn't it just Z'G again, Ruins setting, Trolls and Troll animal themed bosses.

I agree with that Janie, i like the feel of 10 mans for that reason, everyone is doing their bit and 1 person can be the hero or the villan.

I liked 40 mans as they were epic battles and you could carry your mates that werent very good but were a laugh and still get stuff done.

25 mans i didnt like, lacked the intimacy of 10 mans and the epicness of 40 mans.

I find 25-man to be a nice balance between the two. Less egos to organise than 40-man, yet still have room to play around with party synergies. Can't really do that in 10-man.

Karazhan was well designed, I agree. ZA still isn't awful though, so fun fights there.

And we've had this arguement, Marks. Have to agree to disagree. ;)
There's nothing in patch notes, and the night you said it'd been nerfed it was exactly the same (mobs hit the same, same number of mobs, boss fights the same). I got mocked for claiming it was nerfed. /sniff

And we cleared it in Kara/TK/SSC gear, didn't need BT/MH.

The only 40 person dungeon I saw was Molton Core and I found that so boring, to much dull trash (which respawned to quickly).
