Don't know if the bookies will give odds on Owen coming back to LFC, but if they are its worth putting a few quid on.

From someone at todays Champions League draw :

meetings,photos and so on, Rick Parry, David Moores, Florentino P�rez, Abell�
Gallo and Emilio Butrague�o went off together. I don't know where they went,
but it can't be too hard to work out why. Less than ten minutes later, they were ll back looking rather pleased with themselves, and I mean both sides. I think as from today, Mikey is coming back.

Must be gutting for you Flight as you and all the Liverpool fans were so pleased to see him go. Bitter pill for the manager as well, selling him off and spending nearly 30million on complete crap to try and replace him :p

Benitez got Morientes? Baros and Cisse were Houillier buys and the 30m is way off the mark.

Ky is right, Cisse was a Foullier buy.

I'd still say the jury is out on Cisse; out whole of last season with the worst imaginable leg break. Maybe he needs a new club to get some confidence and form back though. Parry is touting him around. Ideal for me if we sold Cisse and bought Owen and Kuyt, but I cant see it. Don't forget Henry was once considered a flop !

Morientes is truly World Class. But, his game needs good wing play, which is something we haven't got at the moment. Once we get it he will show what he is all about.

Crouch will be a terrific buy. Not a prolific scorer, but away from home when the opposition has 10 men behind the ball he will be just what we need.



I see Newcastle have bought Luque. Poor bloke. A truly class player about to be destroyed.

Newcastle should buy that small striker (think he's welsh) who sits on the West Brom bench and scores lots whenever they bother too play him, looks like he capable of scoring lots of goals if he plays! Probably only cost 1-2 million.

Cisse scored his 5th and 6th goals of the season tonight and set up the other one (European Super Cup), plus he has had two legitimate goals given (wrongly) as being offside in the Prem. If we do sell him someone will be picking up a player with huge potential.

Twists in the Owen saga/farce. His agents are talking to Newcatle; Real being as awkward as usual in negotiations with LFC.
