Oz the Great and Powerful

I liked it.

It had a really nice feel to it, feeling "old" and styled in a way that's sympathetic to the original, but has a pace and cinematography that's modern and immersive.

The plot was predictable but it's a childrens' film and neither too scary nor too complicated . . . my 8 year old really enjoyed it too.

The style was good, the characters were interesting, what's not to like?

I like the look of it. It's definitely on my to see list. Jack the giant slayer looks good too.

4-5/10 tops, absolute tosh ....... The Croods though I can heartily recommend.
