I re-installed the latest open beta (or is it launch) after being massively underwhelmed with the game for about 6 months. They've fixed all the stuff i hated. well, most of it.

Is anyone else playing ?

have been pottering for the last day or so. its interesting, I love the passive skill tree.

Seems alike a typical ARPG fair.

Massive passive skill tree, which might mean toons will be unique maybe.

Have had a quick look at the videos online and it looks quite interesting. I'll download the game today and have a whirl tonight. Usual account name if anyone else is on and there's the option to chat / join up or anything.

Played it for an hour, and its already whacking the pants off Diablo III for me. Just feels so much more playable and interesting.

Few disconnects and problems connecting the the login server but seems to be very enjoyable even in the low levels.

played a bit earlier...
doesnt seem anywhere near as accessible as d3 or torchlight, get the impression that it's very easy to make costly mistakes in your build (or probably just at character selection!) if you dont read up lots and plan things out a lot. which isnt really what i'm looking for at the moment, so don't really see me playing it long term.

I'm enjoying the game far far more than I did in beta with a couple of caveats. Firstly The Templar/marauder have HUGE problems at low levels as they use a really shitty dex based hit mechanic, so a starter char with no dex and no +hi items misses far more hits than it ever should. i can recommend, for melee, a Shadow or Duelist to start with.

Secondly, DmC:Devil May Cry. it's utterly Awesome.

That said - i am on as iteken (probably). friend / locate / group with me at your peril.

Me too.

I'm liking it, but it's truely the most unoriginal game i've played - it's diablo (d2 thankfully not d3) with the weapon slotting from FF7 and the passive skill tree comes straight from FF10. It's fun, but i'd be nice to see one new idea!

The last 3-4 days the servers seem to have settled down somewhat. I manage to get to new way points without the frustrations!

I really think the game is quite hard now, tactical town portal's near bosses saving me so much time. I die a lot but still think its fun. Act 2 seems like more longer, deeper quests that can get a little complicated.

My only negative is the small inventory space you have, 10 mins of killing mods or a dungeon run and you need to sell up :(

Perfect game for people like me with young uns, where 20mins here or there maintains progress.

It seems to be going to 1.0 as i type this.

Massive improvements from ly last playing around 0.8 ish. It is pretty cool now.

Fun to play at work !

Picking this up on steam now that it has launched. Enjoyed casually dabbling & watching streams during the beta but never really got too far into it due to other commitments.. itching for a new game right now & free is nothing to sniff at, even if it is a bit derivative!
