Patterson Vs Cornwell

Zed

Rogue Chimp
Cross vs Scarpetta? And why?

I find Cornwells books to be more graphic in description though the formula are the same (Scarpetta finds body, works out its a maniac, maniac targets Scarpetta or daughter, Daughter or Scarpetta blows maniac away with the biggest handgun they can find)

Patterson is a good read but just lacks something for me ..

Catz is ebil *snigger*
Scarpetta every time.

Patterson seems to be loosing it now with Alex Cross. Going a bit OTT and not so 'I have to read the whole book in one go' anymore for me.

I've only read one Kay Scarpetta book and that was about 5 years ago. Didn't like it at all, something about someone releasing the smallpox virus and taunts Kay with a bunch of e-mails (Zed "maniac targets Scarpetta or daughter") Can't really remenber much about it, but the ending was like something out of Scooby Doo - The villian was someone Kay knew and when confronted by Kay she just when nuts and started spewing silly lines (I would have got away with it if it weren't for you pesky medical examiners!). Put me of reading any others. Only ever seen Alex Cross in a couple of the movie adaptions (Kiss the girls, Along came a spider) neither were much good as films.

Love both of them, got all of them. Can finish a Patterson in one go so don't start any till I know I have time to read straight through! Cornwall needs a bit more time to digest.
