I dont know anything about this program. My uncle wants to put it on my computer so he can check things on his computer at work, while his home computer is beening repaired

Im just worried about security issues with it, are there any?

Remember a program called back orrifice? Well that was just a gloryfied PC anywhere, so yeah quite a lot of security issues but just as long as your uncle uses it to control his PC at home/work then shouldn't be too bad, if he leaves yours open then its like them being sat at the keyboard.

PCAnywhere is as secure as you make it on installation.

However he will need perm ission from his work to install it on computers there. As Cerby says it can potentially be a huge issue. Also ports etc will need to be open on the firewall.
