Just a heads up to anyone who is a fan and didnt know this was going to be on. Seen the odd clip and have to say, though its inevitibly going to be very sad for any of us who love the mans books, its a credit to him that he continues to approach his illness with characteristic humour, wit and dignity. No air date as yet.

Why on earth can TV programs only ever be shown at 8 or 9pm, I've never had so much trouble setting things to record on Sky+, and it always seems to be the channels that don't have the '+1' channel so you end up having to miss stuff :/

I guess I just have to hope this is on the BBC iPlayer

Kegs

With the Benedictine monks.
Very sad indeed, choked me up tbh to see him struggle with his tie and reading a passage from his book. :(

Just finished watching it, ditto Kegs. Its made me think about what would happen if I got it, ( I'm 50 this year) and I am busy draughting letters to Suzanne and the kids just in case, to say the things I might not be able to say when the time comes. I was told that the Song " No more I love yous" is about alzheimers, and the thought of not knowing who they are anymore scares me more than anything. Its a disease that is as terrible a punishment on those around the sufferer as it is to the victim.

I have a Grandma whose now completely been taken by alzheimers disease now, she has no recollection at all of who anyone is thesedays - you can't even have a conversation with her as a 'stranger' now because her mind wanders so quickly - it's absolutely heartbreaking. The disease has been like watching her transend back though her childhood and now she's reached infant stage again mentally, it truely is horrible.
Not a fan of Pratchet myself but wish him all the best because no-one deserves that.
