Playing the beta out this week.
Mixed feeling towards it. Love the big open maps and the leveling system looks pretty interesting. However none of the maps i've seen (which admittedly is about 2 or 3) have usable vehicles and the players do die rather quickly, a burst or a machine gun or a couple of pistol rounds and you die (I know it's realistic, but it is not always fun to get clipped and die - I prefer the more health/soak you get in a game like Gears of War online).
Going to play it some more over the beta period before deciding if I will pick it up.

You need to at least get to level 10, and into the 256 sized fights. You do die really quick if you try to solo, if you go in a squad and they work together (admittadly only happens once maybe twice a night when I was playing), you're sorted heavies up front, medic's, snipers providing cover, it is though I'd say more tactical in that respect than other shooters.

I really got into the beta after I wrote my previous message, started to understand what the game is about, how your meant to play the objectives and really enjoyed it. Definate purchase for me tomorrow got some games to trade in so shouldn't cost me much - i'm actually hoping to pickup a headset as well.
