Also check you haven't put a limit on players/levels when you make the game

Typical, I'm late on this as usual!! Anyone mind if I level up some and bug you all on chat? My WoW sub's run out and I've a need to play this again after the D3 anouncement. On the offchance (read: v-unlikely) that I catch up with you all I may even join in a game

Is anyone else finding D2 a bit laggy or stuttery at times?
I know Bnet has always been a bit laggy, but I'm sure it used to run smoother on my old geriatric pc than my new pc. (Unless I just am remembering through rose coloured thoughts?)

Anyway has anyone tried running D2 in windowed mode? I gather I just add -w to the executable icon thing ( I know what I mean)

I reckon its coz they took servers away when wow started and player numbers dropped, but now D3 has "arrived" its caused loads of people to come back and the servers cant cope. Its real scary playing HC at the moment

I have a few disconn issues where i cant log in for 5 mins or so, no lag as such though

Im getting that lag where the game freezes for a few bumhole-clenching seconds and your HC Character stands there getting minced while you cant hit back. Even saw blackwall tother night.

i got put in diablo 2 retail gbr-7 earlier, so i think its safe to say a lot more people are playing it since the D3 announcement

People are also lagging the servers to dupe runes/items.
